      Instagram Business Account Not Recognized Until Linked to Facebook Page

      When attempting to connect an Instagram Business account, a pop-up message indicated that the account was not a business account, despite being set up as one. The issue was caused by the Instagram account not being linked to its corresponding Facebook page. After linking the Instagram account to the Facebook page, the connection process was completed successfully and was able to link to Social AI with no issues.

      Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account

      • Log into Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.
      • Click See all profiles, then select the Page you want to switch into.
      • Click your Page's profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
      • Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
      • Under Permissions, click Linked accounts.
      • Next to Instagram, click View.
      • Click Connect account, then follow the steps to connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account.
